Legislative Drafting
Gonsalves-Sabola Chambers offers consultancy services in Legislative Drafting. This is done in a joint effort, utilizing the expertise of trained Legislative Drafters, who reside and work offshore, but who collaborate with Bahamian attorney, Margaret Gonsalves-Sabola and depend on her for the important input of the Bahamian law and experience.
Margaret has worked in this manner in the fashioning of new and complex legislation for the investment funds sector, where she collaborated with Samantha C. Jn. Paul-Samuel, an experienced Legislative Drafter based in Florida.
A recent addition to the Legislative Drafting consulting team is Kim C. St. Rose nee Gonsalves-Sabola, an attorney-at-law of 34 years and the holder of an LL.M. (Dist.) (Legislative Drafting) from the University of the West Indies, based in Saint Lucia, who lists among her experience the supervision of the Legislative Drafting Department in Saint Lucia between 2013 and 2016 while she served as Attorney General.
